Synergy's extended learning includes:
  • Little MBA

Mere acquisition of knowledge and skill is not enough unless it is applied. To ensure that the students apply the knowledge acquired in the class room, synergy envisaged a little MBA programme to carry the knowledge from CLASS ROOM TO GROSS ROOTS. Students choose a micro organization such as a restaurant or medical stores to implement their ideas and conceptual learning happened in the class. In the process students acquire practical exposure and make the mini firms more professional by giving advises and business skills to the tiny entrepreneurs. In the process both students and firms benefit mutually.

  • Learning groups

Synergy focuses more on group learning than individual centric learning. A group of four or five students form as a learning group to reap the benefits of collaborative learning for the mutual benefit.

  • Industry visits

To strengthen the industry institution interaction (III) students at least visit one industry to gain practical experience. Students submit an industry tour diary wherein they write their observations and suggestions. The performance is evaluated by jury.

  • Professional bodies

Network is the net worth. Collaboration is the source of success. To synergise the efforts, synergy encourages the students to take the membership in the professional bodies such as Hyderabad management association (HMA), HRD network, AIMA etc.. This helps the students to network with the industry professionals in turn help them getting suitable placements.

  • Capstone Projects and summer internships

Students have to undergo rigorous internship in the industry from the 1st Semester to understand the shop floor activities and gain practical experience. Students interact with the supervisor on regular intervals and update the progress to the professor concerned. At the end of the project students submit a dissertation to the school for valuation of the report .

  • Finishing school

Students make slides and write a one page write up and distribute the note to the participants. Likewise every student reviews a book in every semester leading to a total of 240 books knowledge dissemination of 240 books. This leads to the development of written communication and oral communication apart from presentation skills and knowledge dissemination. The performance is evaluated by jury.

  • Majors (Magazine & journal Review sessions) and many more ..

Magazines and journals expose students to new and current knowledge. Usually students do not look into these knowledge repositories. To inculcate such an attitude towards new knowledge synergy initiated a review of magazines and journals and make a presentation to the entire class. This compels the students to acquire current knowledge and disseminate to the class to build competency. The performance is evaluated by jury.
